1. Core principle
Pursor is built for honest local businesses to communicate with their customers more efficiently. We do not allow the Service to be used to deceive, harass, defraud, harm, or evade legal restrictions.
This Policy lists specific prohibitions. The absence of something from this list does not make it allowed if it violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, or the spirit of the principle above.
2. Prohibited industries
You may not use Pursor if your business is primarily engaged in any of the following. These are restricted either by carrier rules (the CTIA SHAFT-C list, A2P 10DLC ineligible categories), federal regulation, or our own risk policy:
- Cannabis, marijuana, CBD, kratom, or other regulated substances (regardless of state legality)
- Firearms, ammunition, fireworks, or weapons of any kind
- Adult entertainment, escort, or sexually-oriented services
- Payday lending, short-term high-interest lending, debt collection, or debt consolidation
- Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or "get rich quick" programs
- Gambling, sweepstakes, lotteries, or sports betting (without explicit approval and a registered carrier use case)
- Cryptocurrency, NFT, or token sales targeting retail consumers
- Telemarketing, lead generation, or affiliate marketing on behalf of third parties
- Political campaigning, fundraising, or advocacy
- Tobacco, vape, e-cigarette, or nicotine product retail
If you're unsure whether your business qualifies, ask before signing up: support@pursor.co.
3. Prohibited content
You may not generate, draft, send, or store any of the following through Pursor:
- False or misleading claims about your products, services, pricing, qualifications, or affiliations
- Impersonation of any real person, business, government agency, or brand other than your own
- Content that infringes another's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Hate speech, harassment, threats of violence, or content targeting protected classes
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way (this is a non-negotiable line and triggers immediate termination and law-enforcement reporting)
- Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Phishing, smishing, malware, or any social engineering content
- Spam — sending high volumes of similar messages to recipients without consent
- "Grey area" practices like lead recycling, A/B-testing scam variants, or sending to numbers from data brokers without verifying consent
4. Security & access
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as part of an authorized program
- Use scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data or generate load
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, prompts, or model weights
- Resell, sublicense, or build a competing product using the Service
5. Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this Policy, we may at our sole discretion: warn you and require corrective action; suspend specific features or your entire account; cancel pending messages or scheduled campaigns; terminate your subscription without refund; refer the matter to law enforcement or regulators; and pursue legal action.
For severe violations (CSAM, fraud, threats, ongoing TCPA violations) we will act immediately and without prior warning.
If you discover that someone is using Pursor in violation of this Policy, report it to abuse@pursor.co.
